Grand Finale 14U Orange Preview

Can Team Final Defend Their Grand Finale Crown?

The 14U Orange Division is total fire at the Grand Finale. There are 12 teams that have a chance to leave with the crown. Here’s a breakdown of the teams that will be colliding for the title.

Grand Finale 14U Orange Preview

Team Final: The defending champs have reloaded in a big way. Their new additions include Malachi Richardson, Sam Foreman and Terquin Mott. When you add them to the heavy roster it looks like a National title run is probable. But first they have to make it through this serious field.

Philly Aztecs: Word is that this will be the Tec’s coming out party. Marcus Floyd will be running the show for this revamped bunch. A potential championship matchup with TF could be on the horizon. I also can’t wait to see this new guard named Tracy Carter, I heard he’s tremendous.

The City: The City is supposed to be in the building fully loaded. Donovan Mitchell has been electrifying so far this season and Wolfie can still nail the 3 ball. They should have a few new pieces so watch out.

Future Players: Leroy Butts might be one of the most talented prospects in attendance. While he gets it done in the paint, Reggie Parker and Andrew Hill will handle the perimeter.

NJ Got Game: NJGG are out for redemption and will start things out with a matchup against Philly Aztecs. Otis Livingston will display his point guard skills and Isaiah Stills should be ready for his breakout season.

Team Scan/KYDA (NY): The B&B backcourt (Barrino and Briscoe) are now joined by Sonny Lorenzo and this should only make this crew better. Austrian Robinson is tough down low but will need help on the boards in this event.

Albany Dream Team: Juwan Gooding has been torching the nets in NY but he will need some more bullets when he touches down at HGH. Big Marcus Jackson will be patrolling the middle so Coach P feels they have a legit shot.

F.A.C.E.S.: The band is back together and it should be interesting. Trey Lowe has returned and the Philly boys will be ready to show their skills. Coach Cole should be looking forward to their pool play matchup with KYDA (NJ).

Team Scan/KYDA (NJ): The defending NJ Champs are back with an unfinished business mentality. Chris Atkinson has shown great strides and Bobby Martin Jr. is a prospering prospect. They will be thoroughly tested in this one.

New Heights: NH has retooled from last season and should make a better impression. Coach Young is back at the helm so you know they will play extremely hard.

MABC: They are known to have serious competitors. A good showing at this event will gave them some clout in the New England area. The Bengals will be ready to play.

Hoop Heaven: Coach Sina has stated that this group is as good as the crew that featured his son Jaren a few years ago. I know they will be very fundamentally sound and able to shoot the pill.
