Diary Of A Baller: Lamar "Fresh" Kimble (Team Final) Entry #11

Hello Basketball World. It’s your boy "Fresh" back again to tell you about my week. This week was about being thankful for all the things in life. I just want to say I'm thankful for having no school on Thursday and Friday... LOL. I chilled in the house and watched sports do to my ankle still recovering. Thursday was Thanksgiving my dad cooked. It was so good. I wanted to take this time out to say I'm thankful for my family, coaches, teachers, Lawncrest Recreation Center, and my God giving talents. Special thanks to Coach Pervis for making me a better player and person. To Coach Fred for taking time out to help me get better in basketball even though he has own two boys. To Mike Melton for letting kids know that their talents are not unnoticed. To both of my grandmothers' who pretend to know something about basketball... LOL, and my dad for making many sacrifices.

Now back to my week, Friday I went to the Legends Classic in Atlantic City with my boy Trey. We were the ball boys. The first game was Georgia Tech vs. UTEP and the second game was Syracuse vs. Michigan. Georgia Tech won their game and Syracuse pulled out their win. Later on that day my boy Trey spent the night over my house. We played PS3 all night. On Saturday, Team final had a workout type practice I felt out of shape do to my ankle injury. But, I kept working hard and pushed through it. Later on I watched Syracuse play Georgia Tech. Syracuse pulled out the win again and won the championship. Sunday, I watched the Eagles get killed against the Bears. Til next week remember "Be thankful that someone took time out to care". Oh Yea.. Shout out to my old head Dion Waiters (Syracuse) who put in work at the Legends Classic. Stay tuned for more from
