I SEE AN IMPROVEMENT IN HIS PLAYMAKING ABILITY IN TERMS OF GETTING OTHERS INVOVLED. HE ALSO HAS GAINED A CONFIDENT DEMEANOR BECAUSE OF THE WORK HE HAS OBVIOUSLY PUT IN OFF THE COURT. HE’S ONE OF A TALENTED CREW OF YOUNGSTERS THAT WILL MAKE LENAPE’S FUTURE BRIGHT. HE FINISHED WITH 13 POINTS IN THE WIN.

HE SCORED THE ROCK FROM ALL THREE LEVELS AND IMPRESSED WITH HIS ABILITY TO SHOOT THE DEEP OFF THE BOUNCE. HE WAS VERY ATHELTIC WHEN FINISHING IN TRANSITION AND SEEMS TO BE A NATURAL AT THE OFF GUARD POSITION. HE SEPARATED HIMSELF FROM HIS PEERS IN TERMS OF TALENT AND POTENTIAL. HE FINISHED WITH 16 MARKERS AND TOOK HOME THE “DOC CHEW” MVP AWARD. THIS KID HAS A CHANCE TO BE SPECIAL.

HE HAS BEEN A PROVEN SCORER SINCE ENTERING THE HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL AND SHOULD CONTINUE THIS PROWESS DURING HIS SOPHOMORE SEASON. HE’S ANOTHER COG IN THE TCPA ENGINE. I BELIEVE THE POINT GUARD POSITION SHOULD BE MORE OF HIS FOCUS AS HE TRIES TO PREPAPRE FOR BASKETBALL AFTER HIGH SCHOOL. I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING PENNINGTON PLAY ESPECIALLY AGAINST TCPA.

We would like to thank the community for their donations and the schools for their involvement in this event. J.E.M. MIDDLE SCHOOL CLASSIC SET FOR APRIL 2ND



The J.E.M. Middle School Classic is set to take place April 2nd at St. Raphael School in Hamilton, NJ. This event will bring together some of the top middle school teams in the region to do battle in memorial of Jonelle Elaine Melton. The proceeds from this event will go towards a scholarship fund in her name. Last year’s event was a huge success and we look forward to another great year of competition.
