2nd Annual Slam Dunk Breast Cancer
Yesterday, God Blessed Basketball Spotlight and Agame Sports Apparel with the ability to honor these six women at the 2nd Annual Slam Dunk Breast Cancer. First of all I will like to thank these courageous women for fighting this deadly disease. Then I would like to thank my staff including my wife Shonda Melton for putting the program ceremony together.
Next up I need to thank the players and parents for participating in this event. Now to my staff I need thank my coaches Doc, Kyle Carmichael, Carl Hines, Chris Hatchell and Jody Conover. I also need thank my mom Lorene Melton, my sister Tamekia Melton, Kenya Weldon, Laquana Holman, Jodore London, Twana Scott, DJ TDogg, and D1 Media Pro for live stream and Tim Dogg annoucing the games. Basketball Spotlight and AGame Team Apparel are proud to announce that D1 Media Pro will be live streaming and broadcasting the Slam Dunk Breast Cancer. Here is a little background on the company.
D1Media offers Live-streaming of HS sports and community events, photography, video, media and athletic marketing services. We work with some of the top athletes and programs in the country such as Roselle Catholic basketball. We are the #1 Independent Live-stream school broadcast production in NJ. NFHS Network is #1 in the country. We also have helped many under recruited aspiring student athletes obtain Division I athletic scholarships.
D1MediaPro works with clients to help raise the profile of their business. We work with schools to help market and showcase their students to the community. We also avail student athletes with the necessary skills to help market them to HS and college coaches. Support The Slam Dunk Breast Cancer (Oct. 26th)
2018 Honorees
Basketball Spotlight and AGame Team Apparel have come together again to honor breast cancer survivors and to showcase the top basketball talent in the Northeast, United States. This event will take place October 26th and feature the top 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Grade players in an all-star game format.
Last year's event was a big success as we honored six women and had three games in which the young players played their hearts out. We also provided halftime entertainment and gifts. Please feel free to contribute to this cause as all proceeds will be used for the honorees and players of this event. Use the link below to help the cause. Paul Pintella Memorial Classic Returns In February
The 2nd Annual Paul Pintella Jr. Memorial Classic will be returning to Trenton, NJ area February 22nd and 23rd. This event will feature eight middle/grammar school teams playing in a single game elimination tournament. The winner of the event will be presented the Paul Pintella Jr. Championship banner to hang in their gym. Tournament information is below;

Super Skillcase A Month Away!
The Super Skillcase is directed by world-renowned skills coach Micah Lancaster and is a one of a kind of exposure event with Mike Melton's Basketball Spotlight. The Skillcase features the same advanced teaching and instruction that he offers to all of his NBA, college, and high school All-Americans, but broken down to a form that all players can handle. Micah will be unveiling new curriculum at this event that he used with Kyrie Irving, Vic Oladipo, Karl-Anthony Towns and along with 8 years of the best grassroots talent to come through the Spotlight circuit. All players receive Micah's innovative skill training and teaching techniques which is designed to make players feel like they are alone in the gym with Micah. Players will also have competitive 5-on-5 games in the afternoon under the watchful eye of Mike Melton's Basketball Spotlight. Special features of the 2019 event include a high resolution portrait photo shoot, gear, and the convenience of Sportika in Manalapan, NJ. The event is for players 5th grade through 12th grade boy and girls. Be there and “Skillcase" your talents while improving your skills like never before!

The Basketball Spotlight Holiday Classic will be taking place December 30th and 31st at Trenton Catholic Academy. This event will bring together eight high level grammar school teams to compete for the Holiday Classic Banner. Teams already committed are; Trenton Catholic Academy, Gil Saint Benard, Patrick School, St. Thomas, Our Savior Lutheran, Maplewood Middle School and we have two spots available.
