Tri State Invitational 11 and Under Recap: Bowie Magic Wins Thriller

In the 11 and Under Division Bowie Magic came from behind to knock off the Delaware Finest Stars 49-47 to win the Tri-State Invitational Championship. The standout players will be featured in a special Baby Baller story coming shortly.

Top Performers

Devin Garrett Forward (Bowie Magic)- Garrett is a strong inside player that catches the rock near the foul line and charges towards the basket. He runs the floor very well for his age and probably will end up being a guard one day.

Devin Baugh Guard (Bowie Magic)- Baugh was something to watch. He got where ever he wanted on the floor especially in transition. I like the feel he has for the game and his ability to score buckets.

Justin Faison Guard (Bowie Magic)- Faison played good defense which helped his team make a serious comeback. He’s a utility player which means he does a little of everything to help his team win. I like his speed and heart.

Ju Ju Hooks Guard (Del Finest Stars)- Hooks dribble his way through the BM press as long as he could. He has good change of direction and handles the pill great with either hand.

Malik Robinson Guard (Del Finest Stars)- Robinson provided a spark off the pine. He pushes the rock full speed ahead and dashed through the lane for a couple of buckets.
