MDC 13U Top Performers: Let's Get Busy!

Rick Deberry Had A Few Good Moments

It was a tight race in the 13U Division for the crown. Team Takeover ended up pulling it out but there were a few other players that stood out. Here are some of the top performers from the 13U Division.

13U Top Performers

Rick Deberry Forward (Richmond Phenom)- Deberry got things going against Linden Ballers in pool play. He’s beginning to handle the ball a little more which is important in his development. He didn’t win Mr. Memorial Day this time around but he still had a good showing.

Bryant Crawford Guard (Team Takeover)- Crawford was consistent the entire tournament. His versatility as a big guard causes a lot of problems for defenders. He averaged close to 20 points a game at the MDC this past weekend.

Trey Lowe Guard (NJ Got Game)- Lowe found his scoring range throughout the tournament. He found his stroke from the 3 point range and got out into transition for some easy buckets. His scoring output will need to increase for NJGG to be successful.

Jack Laffy Forward (JS Devils)- The books indicate that Laffy once again posted decent numbers. Jack has been very consistent this year and he’s usually good for 15 points and about 8 rebounds per outing.

Juwan Dolbrice Guard (Linden Ballers)- Dolbrice was a bright spot for the Linden Ballers this weekend. The strong combo guard posted double digit scoring in most of his games. He’s another player that has brought his game all season.

Curt Jones Guard (Richmond Phenom): Jones caught fire and went for 27 points in their win against Long Island Lightning. He shot the lights out knocking down 6 treys in the process. Jones is a marksman for this squad and does his job well.
