AGame Super Shootout Day 1: Top Performers Part 2

Marcus Jackson (Albany Dream Team)

The AGame Super Shootout kicked off this morning in Pottstown, PA and Basketball Spotlight was in the building. Here’s a breakdown of some of the top performers from Day 1.

Top Performers Day 2 Part 2

13U Division

Marcus Jackson Forward (Albany Dream Team)- Jackson was a load to handle on the blocks as he got deep post position. He sealed defenders and used a baby hook to score in the lane. On the glass he snatched several rebounds and clogged the lane on defense. On the 13U level he is a serious factor on both ends.

Isiah Dobere Guard (Albany Dream Team)- Dobere was the floor general and did a great job. He exploded in transition and hit teammates cutting to the cup. He has a good feel for the game and showed it today.

Tony Ellington Guard (Next Level)- Ellington looked good on his pull up and ability to get into the lane. His team took a tough one on the chin but he still played with good poise. He showed heart until the final buzzer.

Daquan Rogers Forward (Next Level)- The slender lefty ran the floor well and finished off plays. He has a wide receiver type stride but does possess some basketball skills.

Jaquan Hickman Guard (Abyssinian Church)- It was a layup drill for Hickman during the blow out in pool play. The combo guard seems built for the position but I would love to see his work against a higher level of competition.
