Basketball Spotlight Feature: Trey Patterson Has Next!

Patterson Has Arrived!

The Tri-State has been the home of some top middle prospects over the years including Isaiah Whitehead, Isaiah Briscoe, Tyus Battle and most recently Nate Pierre Louis. Now there’s an eleven year old 6th Grader from Franklin, NJ that seems to be next in line. His name is Trey Patterson. Patterson currently plays for Nations Basketball Academy in which he guided to the Basketball Spotlight 5th Grade Grand Finale championship game last summer. This guard currently stands 6 foot, wears a size 14 shoe and is projected to be close to 6’9.

Gary Battle has been known to develop talent including his son Tyus has been working with Patterson and has rave reviews. “Trey can play on the perimeter and in the post. He needs to continue to work on his ball handling and his defense away from the basket. He’s a tireless worker with unlimited potential” said Battle.

Basketball Spotlight will get a look at Trey and his squad as they travel down to the AC Showcase. Stay tuned as we bring you more top up and coming players headed to Atlantic City.
