12U AAU Nationals Update: Cincinnati Lakers Holds Off F.A.C.E.S.

John Bubenhofer Guard (Cincinnati Lakers)

Cincinnati Lakers fought off a tough F.A.C.E.S. team to get a 60-42 victory. John Bubenhofer and Jeremy Larkin had big games for the Lakers while Ray Montilous big huge for the Jersey team.

Top Performers

John Bubenhofer Guard (Cincinnati Lakers)- John burned F.A.C.E.S. from the perimeter when the ball swung his way. His stroke look real good today and he has good swagger on the floor. He played tough as nails out there.


Jeremy Larkin Guard (Cincinnati Lakers)- Larkin came up big for the Lakers by scoring in traffic. He has a guard size but rebounds and uses his strength to produce. He plays his role great for this team.

Roderick Caldwell Guard (Cincinnati Lakers)- Caldwell handled the Killer Bees pressure today. He’s a capable ball handler and can drain the outside shot when left open. His confidence helps out his game in a big way.

Ray Montilous Forward (F.A.C.E.S.)- Ray did everything he could to get the win. He was a force on the boards in the first half and scored inside over taller defenders. He has a quick first step and good body control.

Christian Ford Forward (F.A.C.E.S.)- Ford also played hard inside and gave a good effort on the defensive end. His length helped him battle on the blocks and grab a few loose balls.
