One On One Feat: Devandre Edmonds (Mass Shooting Stars)

 

The Mass Shooting Stars 7th Grade has been dominating the New England region the last two years and a lot of the credit has to go to polished forward Devandre Edmonds. Edmonds is currently listed as the #1 player in New England’s Class of 2018. We had a chance to holler at the lad and here’s what he had to say. 

One On One 

BS: What are you goals for the season? 
DE: To win an MVP award. 

BS: How do you handle the pressure of being regarded as one of the best players on your level in Massachusetts? 
DE: I just continue to strive to be the best. 

BS: What do you feel are the strong points of your game? 
DE: My defense. 

BS: What areas of your game do you need to work on? 
DE: I’m working hard at improving every aspect of my game. 

BS: What is your dream college and why? 
DE: Kentucky, I like their style of play.

BS: What’s your best Basketball Spotlight memory? 
DE: Winning the MVP at last year’s BS Clash of the Cup.

BS: Who would you regard as the toughest opponent you have faced? (Player) 
DE: Tyreik McCauley (Worcester Academy Boys Varsity Team).

BS: Who would you love to have dinner with and why? 
DE: Magic Johnson, He was a great player in his day. 

BS: Give me one word to describe Basketball Spotlight. 
DE: Competitive!
