Jalen Carey (New Rens)
Every season a player steps up and shows improvement in his game. This season Jalen Carey of New Rens 7th Grade has been showing flashes of that guy. Carey wasted no time while performing as one of the top players at the East Coast Super Skillcase in Atlantic City. He stood out while doing the drills and getting busy on the floor. This past weekend he helped New Rens capture King James Classic 7th Grade Championship.
New Rens 7th Grade skipper Billy Council has also noticed Carey’s development, “Jalen has an enact ability to get the rim. He does need to work on becoming more of a vocal leader and play more under control when the crowd gets involved. He has a great future ahead of him if he stays grounded and continues to work on is game” Council finished.
