Team Final Repeats As Grand Finale Champs!

Lamarr Kimble scored 15 points and Trevaughn Wilkerson added 14 points as Team Final defeated F.A.C.E.S. 42-32 to win the Grand Finale 14U Orange Championship. Trey Lowe finished with 10 markers in the loss.

Top Performers

Lamar Kimble Guard (Team Final)- Kimble helped TF add more hardware. He took over the point guard role with Malik Ellison out with an injury and did a fine job. But when things got tight “Fresh” opened up a scoring barrage that included finishes down the middle of the lane. His big game experience kicked in at the right time.

Trevaughn Wilkerson Forward (Team Final)- The Trevaughn factor was in full effect yesterday. In the second half and controlled the paint on both ends of the floor as usual and continues to show developing foot work. He also gave the crowd a treat with an impressive follow up dunk.

Trey Lowe Guard (F.A.C.E.S.)- Lowe’s game winning basket against Philly Aztecs propelled F.A.C.E.S. in this game. He stroked the pill with good confidence all weekend and seems to be comfortable back playing with Coach Cole. He had a very solid showing.

Ahmad Harrison Forward (F.AC.E.S.)- Harrison’s play fits well with Cole’s style. He plays with a lot of passion and seemed to be under more control when attacking the tin. He was a good addition to this squad.
