Cole Anthony Ranked #1

The 7th Grade Division of the MDC has some of the region’s best players in the Class of 2019. Here’s the Best Of The Best list including the Super 15 player performance rankings.

MDC 7th Grade Best Of The Best

Best Performer: Cole Anthony (NY Rens)
“The Natural” threw is hat back into the Player Of The Year race after the MDC. He stepped up in the biggest moments while leading his team to the championship. He was in a zone this past weekend.

Best Scorer: Shawn Johnson (Team Final)
Johnson got it done in the scoring column. Defenses had no answer for his attacking style and scoring skills. He helped Team Final reach the final four and advance to the Grand Finale.

Best Floor General: Judah McIntyre (NY Rens)
Judah made things happen for NY Rens. His handle and passing was outstanding. He also orchestrated the offense like a surgeon. He’s a proven leader.

Best Fresh Face: Seth Lundy (WE R 1)
I heard a lot of talk about this kid from Delaware and he was worth the noise. This kid has a lot of game and will only get better.

Best Athlete: Scottie Lewis (Team RIO)
When you run the floor like a deer and fly like a hawk it’s hard for anyone to deny you being the best athlete. This kid literally jumps out of the gym.

Best Prospect: Bryant Antoine (Team RIO)
I told you guys a few years ago that this kid had some good qualities and now they are coming to fruition. Don’t be surprised if by his frosh year in high school that he’s a national star.

Best Defender: Josh Pierre Louis (Metro Flyers)
Pierre Louis on ball defense is relentless. He pressures the pill and causes the opposing point guard to give up his dribble or turn the ball over.
