Basketball Spotlight MDC 14U Top Point Guards

Carlos Thrash (Fairfax Stars)

In our final look at the 14U Division; we will talk about the top point guards that graced the floor at the MDC.

MDC 14U Top Point Guards

Carlos Thrash Guard (Fairfax Stars)- Fairfax competed in some high level comp and Thrash was at the controls. Carlos is a quick as a bullet when driving down the teeth of the defense. His play was on full display the first game of the event in their win against NJ Got Game.

Bryce Aiken Guard (Team Scan)- I don’t know what else to say about this kid. He continues to put together a great year. He finished the championship game with 19 markers and had a strong argument for Mr. Memorial Day status. Aiken has been a winner his entire AAU career and now has added a Gold Ball to his collection.

Ty Mckoskie Guard (On Point Cyclones)- I was a little surprised with this kids game. He has the classic NY handle but he threw a few passes that turned my head. The Cyclones are stacked with scorers and McKoskie does a good job making everyone happy.

Otis Livingston Guard (NJ Got Game)- NJGG made a final four run and Livingston drove the car. This time around he didn’t have to post big numbers but his penetration skills kept the defense guessing.

Kiandre Fair Guard (CBC)- Fair played up in age but still managed to hold his own against the strong guards. He’s very crafty and we can’t wait to see him against his classmates at the Basketball Spotlight Super Showcase.

Isaiah Dobere Guard (Albany Dream Team)- Dobere’s solid play and scoring ability helped ADT have a strong showing. He gets to the cup whenever he wants and makes life in the paint easier for Marcus Jackson. He spoon fed the big man all weekend.
