One On One Feat. Isaiah Swan (Worldwide)

I went to Atlanta, Georgia to the D 1 Spects Tournament to find some new prospects. I definitely found one in 6th Grader Isaiah Swan of Worldwide. Swan’s play helped his team reach the finals. Basketball Spotlight sat down with this top performer and here’s our One on One.

One On One

BS: How was your middle school season?
IS: I played for Hillgrove Middle School. I averaged 25 points a game and had a couple of dunks. Our team went 50-0 this season.

BS: Who’s your favorite player and why?
IS: Derrick Rose because he gets everyone involved and he’s the youngest player ever to win the NBA MVP.

BS: What’s the strongest part of your game?
IS: My scoring, rebounding and shot blocking.

BS: What part of your game needs the most work?
IS: I think my ball handling and creating off the dribble.

BS: What is your dream college?
IS: Kentucky, because some of the greatest players came through there.

BS: Who’s your favorite player of all time?
IS: Michael Jordan, he has six rings.

BS: What was your best game ever?
IS: We played Milton Middle School and I had 38 points, 32 rebounds and 10 blocks.
