Breakdown: Battle scored 16 points and was tremendous in his team victory over rival F.A.C.E.S. 62-47 to win the MDC 10U championship. Later that season the Kid Mamba continued his great play while capturing the Basketball Spotlight 10U Player Of The Year. The next season he helped Team Battle reach the AAU Final Four and took home 11U Player Of The Year.
Since 2007 the Mr. Memorial Award has always been given to the MVP of the MDC. This year’s version of the Memorial Day Classic is stacked with players who would no doubt love to add this trophy to their collection. Will your name be added to this prestigious list? We will see at the end of May.
