Mid Atlantic Regionals 9U Championship: Edwards Leads Team Rebels To Championship

Malik Edwards (Team Rebels)

Team Rebels defeated Philly Legends 36-21 to win the Middle Atlantic 9 and Under Championship. Congrats to Team Rebels for winning the crown.

Malik Edwards Guard (Team Rebels)-
Edwards is an excellent scorer and can put up big numbers when needed. He’s also a good drive draw and kick lead guard opposed to being a quick penetrating force. He can run the show and will continue to improve because of his tremendous upside.

Rahdir Hicks Guard (Team Rebels)
-Hicks is a strong scorer who can get to the rim in transition as well as in the half court. He simply drives through defenders where he can finish or draw the foul.

Tairi Ketner Forward (Team Rebels)- Ketner is a versatile forward who presents mismatch problems for defenders. He can attack off the dribble and moves well in transition. He runs the court hard, attacks the offensive glass, and is good for a couple of put backs a game.

Justice Starling-Williams Forward (Team Rebels)-
Starling-Williams has the tools to be a guard. He can handle, pass and score. Justice competes and plays with energy and effort on both ends.

Sameed Jenkins Guard (Philly FJU)-
Jenkins is a player who does a lot of good things on the floor. He seems to always make the right play. Over the course of the game he showed the ability to knock down open shot from the perimeter.
