Word On The Street: No More Bully? (Players On The Move)

A lot of things are going on around the AAU world right now. So we decided to hit a couple of our sources and bring you another “Word On The Street”. Remember most of this information is not concrete as of yet but mostly from the rumor mill.

“The Bully” Heads To Sunshine State?

The NY sources also tell that reigning POY Rakym “The Bed Stuy Bully” Felder has left NYC and now will reside in Florida. This will definitely cause a shakeup in the race for regional POY and in the Metropolitan AAU Title chase. I have the feeling we haven’t seen the last of him. Maybe I can convince former New Heights skipper Greg Tejadi to bring a Florida crew up here. Holla At Me Greg!

Team IZOD Snatching Bodies!

Word out of North Jersey is that Team IZOD wasted no time after moving into the grammar school level. Apparently Idris Joyner and Khalif Crawford have joined their 13U squad coached by Rob Cole. If this is true than it will give this team a big lift and a chance to rebound from their Grand Finale performance. Don’t be surprised if they find a way to make it to Summer Slam.

Taylor On The Move Again?

Word from up top (NY) is that Manny Taylor played his last game with Team Scan at Funsport. The rumor mill has him traveling down the Jersey Turnpike and suiting up with the Team Final soldiers. This would give this strong even more bulk on the blocks.

Butts and Crawford Join Team Takeover Super Team?

My PV sources have confirmed that Team Takeover has formed a Super Team for the 14U level. Bryant Crawford and Tonny Blackwell came over from the other Takeover squad. Also we hear Franklin Howard the talented guard from DC Assault (Allen) has joined this group. But their biggest catch might be Leroy Butts arriving from the Future Players. We should get our first look at this squad at the Clash For The Cup.
