Tavon White was one of the most exciting players in this region last season. He led Team Rebels to a runner up finish in the Mid Atlantic AAU Regional Championships. Now this season White is ready to take his game to another level. Rebel’s coach Jamal Hunt see’s the progress in White, “Tavon is an incredible talent on this level. Now he understands that he must put the gym work in for his game to improve. Right now he has to be considered one of the top players in the region” said Hunt.
Though Hunt raves about White’s talent he still understands that the youngster has a long road ahead of him. “Tavon is still a raw guard. On the next level (high school) and in college he will have to play the point. So right now he has to learn the position and get comfortable making point guard decisions. I believe he has the work ethic to get it done” Hunt finished.
