Basketball Spotlight Elite 80 Expo Preview: Pennsylvania Version

The Quaker State is known for its rugged guard play and physical style. The Elite 80 Expo should be a place where some of these youngsters will step center stage. A few top ballers have signed up and took the challenge for this big time event. Check them out.

Repping Pennsylvania!

Britton Lee Guard (Philadelphia, PA)- Lee is had some good showings in these settings. I look for the Expo to be his launching pad into the AAU season. The physical guard plays wall to wall defense and takes pride in licking down ball handlers. Offensively he can be a scoring machine once he gets going.

Shafeik Taylor Guard (Philadelphia, PA)- I having seen Taylor rock since the NY vs. Philly All City Classic. If his game has shown any improvements than the other players better be ready for the real deal. Taylor is multi-talented guard with some decent size for the position.

John Davis Forward (Philadelphia, PA)- The lefty made good strides last season and will be looking to prove that at this event. He plays the forward spot but can put the pill on the floor and create opportunities. I’m looking forward to analyzing his game.

Floyd Preito Guard (Philadelphia, PA)- Preito showed me his point guard skills at the Hoop Group Jr. Elite Camp in Philly. Against some good comp he handled the rock and made some good decisions. This event is point guard heavy so his handle will surely get tested.

Yusef Yacob Guard (Chester, PA)- Yacob went on tour this fall to show his skill level and for the most part he didn’t disappoint. The slender wing player brought his game a represented well. He's a product of the Poo Evans developement camp.
