Top Performers
Tyus Battle Guard (Team Battle)- This was the first time I saw Tyus this year against his age group. This youngster impressed me with his skills but especially with his willingness to get others involved. When it was time for Battle to score he showed some polished moves and ability to create his own shot. This kid has earned a nick name and since he loves Kobe we decided to go with “Kid Mamba”.
Brandon Randolph Guard (Team Battle)- Brandon played the passing lane excellent on defense. He also was very aggressive on offense attacking the gaps and making things happen. I could see that he is still getting comfortable with his new squad.
Jamari Stephenson Guard (Team Battle)- Jamari came off the bench to give Battle a serious boost. His size makes him tough to defend from the backcourt position. Once he gets into the lane he causes contact before scoring.
Kyle Elliot Forward (NJ Got Game)- Elliot got out into transition and made things interesting with his ability to use his body control to score. He has a high motor and uses to his team advantage. He seems to have a decent upside.
Idris Joyner Forward (NJ Got Game)- Joyner is a problem inside especially rebounding the rock. He has high energy and good leaping ability to this age. On a couple of plays he showed good post moves and position on the blocks.
