NJ Got Game Tourney 12U Championship Recap: Team Battle Soars To Crown!

Team Battle Returns To 12U With Title

Tyus Battle and Darius Gillon scored 14 points apiece as Team Battle stormed past NJ Got Game 58-26 to win the 12U title. Kyle Elliot finished with 9 points for NJ Got Game in the loss.

Top Performers

Tyus Battle Guard (Team Battle)- “Kid Mamba” played the passing lanes excellent and glided for easy layups in transition. His length helped him deflect passes and gather steals during the press. Towards the end he put some pastry on his moves.

Brandon Randolph Guard (Team Battle)- Randolph was once again a ball hawk. He got a few interceptions playing the passing lane and converted them into easy lay ups. I like how he has embraced him role on this squad.
Wo
Nate Pierre-Louis Guard (Team Battle)-w! This kid attacks the basket with vengeance. Once he gets near the basket he climbs into the chest of shot blockers before releasing the rock. His leaping ability and strength is great for his size. I also like the way he gets after the rock on defense.

Kyle Elliot Forward (NJ Got Game)- Elliot led NJGG in scoring. He has some size and versatility at this age. He plays hard and should have a good upside once he develops an outside stroke.
