One On One Feat. Devonte Green (Gauchos)

Devonte Green is one of the smoothest players in the region. He has displayed these skills for the last 3 years while leading the Gauchos to multiple titles. We got a chance to run into him at the Gauchos Round Ball after he scored 27 points against the Playaz 15U team. Here’s our One on One.

One On One

BS: What school do you attend?
DG: Robert Moses (Long Island).

BS: Who’s your favorite player?
DG: Kevin Durant because I like what he can do at his size.

BS: What’s the strongest part of your game?
DG: I would have to say my jump shot.

BS: What part of your game needs the most work?
DG: Probably going hard left.

BS: What’s your dream college?
DG: North Carolina, my brother went there and I love their program.

BS: How has having a brother in the NBA helped your game and development?

DG: I remember I made a buzzer beater at halftime against U Turn at the Basketball Spotlight MDC.

BS: What’s special about the Basketball Spotlight tournaments?
