Diary Of A Baller: Jordan Forehand Entry #11

Hello, Basketball World!

It's your boy Jordan Forehand. Rutgers Prep will be over for me in three weeks. We are preparing for graduation, our 8th grade trip and of course our end of the year exams.

My New Jersey Shoreshots 14U D1 team played our 2nd round States qualifying game on Saturday. We lost to the Hoop Starz Gym Rats. They played a great defensive game. We gave it our all. We still qualified for Nationals and we are all looking forward to going to Orlando. I would like to thank Coach Adam Turner for helping us to get to this point. I would also like to thank Coach Molloy and Val Barnaby for coming out to the game.

I did my 2-3 days of basketball conditioning. I was a little sore this week, but that is part of the program.

I went to my boy Darren Douglass's birthday party on Saturday. Had a good time!

On Sunday, I went to Newark to check out the 14U D1 finals. I would like to congratulate Coach Slappy and the Playaz team for winning the NJ State title.

Being that it is Mother's Day, I would like to take this time to thank my mother and my grandmother for everything they do for me. From helping me to get to and from basketball activities and with my academics.

I hope all the Mother's enjoyed their Mother's Day! You all deserve everything and more!
