The Basketball Spotlight MDC 10U Division promises to give us something to look forward to in the future. Here’s a look at some of the Baby Baller squads that will be in the building this weekend.
Basketball Spotlight MDC 10U Preview
Rip City: Rip Hamilton should be proud of this group because they represent his name well. They won the Baby Baller Bonanza and recently snatched the Mid Atlantic crown. They have to be the favorite for the Gold Ball this weekend.
CJ Hawks: Don’t’ sleep on the Hawks because they are capable of knocking off anyone at anytime. They recently won the Super Regional in Lakewood and will be aiming for their first Spotlight crown.
Team Phenom: Yes, the legendary Paul Gripper returns with a young group. He’s responsible for developing several D 1 studs including current lottery pick Mike Kidd-Gilchrist.
Asbury Park Rec: AP Rec. step into the MDC with a heavy local rep. Now it’s time to put everything on the line and the comp will be waiting.
DC Assault: Come on they are DC Assault so we expect them to be good. Now they will try to make some noise in their first Spotlight event.
MSU: The Plainfield High School pipeline returns to the grammar school scene. Therefore we expect them to have some youngsters with a lot of hustle and skills. Welcome back MSU.
NY Panthers: Coach Kat also makes his return to the grammar school ranks. He’s one of the best coaches in the game and should return to Panthers back to prominence.
MABC: The Boston boys return after a crown last season. The rest of the field need to look out these boys can go. They should make things interesting.
