One On One Feat. Anthony "Mister" Cowan (DC Assault)

Nicknames are a moniker that I have given out for years. Some players do things doing the game that catch my attention and earn them a nickname. Anthony Cowan of DC Assault was one of those players. After watching Cowan command respect and direct traffic for his squad he garnered the nickname Mister. Last season Mister Cowan help lead his squad finished ranked #11 in the country. Cowan and his crew will be returning to the MDC this year in their quest for their first Spotlight title. We got a chance to holler at him after a workout and here’s our One on One.

One On One

AC: I love it because it gives me a chance to play against the best players in the country. I get the opportunity to see them and how good they have gotten.

BS: Who’s the best player you have faced on the court?
AC: I would have to Tyus Battle of Team Battle.
