AGame Super Shootout 14U Recap:Team NJABC Wins New Threads!

Team NJABC Gets It Done!

Kaison Randolph scored 12 points and Tyler Kohl added 10 markers as Team NJ ABC defeated MABC 44-37 to win the AGame Super Shootout 14U Title.

Top Performers

Tyler Kohl Forward (Team NJ ABC)- “Baby Barkley” was at it again this weekend. He really put in work during their win against #3 Future Players. Tyler was relentless on the glass and even gave the crowd a treat with his perimeter skills. He’s a quick leaper with an array of moves.

Isaiah Powell Guard (Team NJ ABC)- Powell also showed true grit during the semi’s. His willingness to stick mid range shot and drill the trey ball gave his squad the edge. I also like the way he attacked the cup and initiated contact.

Randall West Forward (Team NJ ABC)- West is a great addition for Team NJ ABC. He rooms the baseline and slashes to the cup. He made a reverse move that even made my mouth drop. Don't sleep on this kid.

Shaquan Worthy Guard (Team NJ ABC)- Worthy used his speed to control the tempo in the semifinals. He blitzed through the gaps and hit cutting teammates. He knows how to pick his spots well.

Shaquille Davis Guard (MABC)- Davis was probably one of the strongest guards in the building. He commands respect with his ball handling and if you step he will launch a trey.

Aamahne Santos Guard (MABC)- Santos is another guard that doesn’t mind the contact. He was really a problem during the semifinals against AGame Elite as he helped propel them to the finals.

Jalen Adams Guard (MABC)- I remember Adams for last season and has the knack of scoring from the wing. He looks good shooting from the perimeter and getting out in transition.

Leroy Butts Forward (Future Players)- Butts was on full display in the semifinals against NJABC. The lefty got good post position and scored with Lamar Odom type floaters. His versatility and wingspan makes him difficult to guard on this level. Once he hits high school and plays the wing watch out.

Marquis Rowe Guard (Future Players)- Rowe tried to make things interesting with some tough plays in the loss. His pull up in the lane was very efficient and he has a no quit attitude. Rowe found a way to get his shot off against the towering NJABC interior.

Jaquan Johnson Guard (Agame Elite)- Johnson was a one man show in their semifinal loss to MABC. The lefty powered his way to over twenty points including a couple of 3 points plays the old fashioned way. His ball handling allowed him to cut through the defense like a hot knife through butter.
