AGame Super Shootout 11U Recap: MABC Doesn't Waste Gas!

MABC Conquers AGame Super Shootout

In the 11U Finals of the Agame Super Shootout MABC defeated Team Final 37-18. Here’s a breakdown of the top performers from the championship and the rest of Day 2.

11U Top Performers

Jamari Venter Guard (MABC)- Benton blistered the competition with strong drives and tough finishes. I like the way he cradles the rock when driving through traffic. On defense he had a field day stripping ball handlers.

Azar Swain Guard (MABC)- Mr. Memorial Day didn’t disappoint. He has a serious feel for the game and knows how to score when needed. I like his pull up in the lane and crossover moves he uses to get loose from defenders.

Charles Hannah Forward (MABC)- Hannah was the longest player on the floor and used it to his advantage. He blocked plenty of shots and even scored a few buckets in the victory.

Isaiah Mucius Forward (Team Final)- Mucius found his range from the 3 point line nailing three treys in the victory against Delaware Royalty. He’s a lanky wing player that has great strides when running the floor. I think TF might have another stud on the horizon.

John Paul Sanders Guard (Team Final)- Sanders is a slasher and tough rebounder. He scores well in transition and helps out heavy on the glass. On defense he plays the passing lane well and has good determination.

Greg Williams Guard (Team Final)- Williams gets out on the break quickly. He scored some key baskets as TF began to pull away from DR. On defense he was at the top of press and collected several steals.

Elkhana Hildago Guard (Team Final)- Hildago is a capable floor general. He doesn’t look to score but instead runs the squad. I like the way he directs traffic and acts a coach on the floor. His basketball IQ is very high.

Eric Ayala Guard (Delaware Royalty)- Some kids have that special talent and Ayala might be one of them. His court vision, ball handling and feel for the game stood out this weekend. This is definitely a name to remember.

Myles Cale Guard (Delaware Royalty)- Cale showed good in their loss to TF. He’s a strong ball handler that sees the floor but specializes in scoring. He finished the game as the high scorer for his squad. He and Ayala form a great backcourt.

Tyson Eitenne Guard (World Team Elite)- Tyson got it going to help Team Elite comeback. He launched a long trey then converted a 3 point play the old fashioned way. On defense he moved his feet well and got after it on the press.

Kyle Brown Guard (World Team Elite)- Brown was a load to handle today. I like his hesitation dribble and ability to change direction. He has a serious scorer’s mentality and shows it often.

Jahvon Quinerly Guard (World Team Elite)- The kid with the hot handle is a joy to watch at times. He had defenders on skates all weekend and either scored or passed with flair.
