Diary Of A Baller: James "Buckets" Bishop (Baltimore, MD) Entry #6

What’s Up Basketball Spotlight World,

It’s James Bishop again letting you know how my week went.

On Monday I went to school and it was a usual day. The good thing about today was my brother was off from work and was able to work out my God brother and I. We did skill work for an hour and a half and then got up some shots for the last hour. Afterwards we went to Subway to eat before going home to do my physical workout.

Tuesday was a special day because I was out of school unexpectedly and loved it lol. So I stayed home and went to work out at Dru Hill from 10 to 12. Then I got lunch and chilled until my BNBL game at 6:00 pm. We won our game in overtime and it was a pretty cool because I had a chance to play in my hometown which is rare because we travel so much. Later I ran two miles then played NBA 2K against my brother. He got the best of me tonight but I will get revenge in the tomorrow.

Wednesday was a long day at school. I did a lot of studying while preparing to take SAT. After school I waited for my God brother to come and scoop me for workouts. We got two hours in and then I went home to work on my ball handling. I was extra tired this night so there was no TV or game for me. I just ate, showered and went to sleep.

On Thursday I went to school and had a scrimmage after school with my BMF teammates. We played against the 16U and 17U in preparation for the NYBL this coming weekend. The next morning we hit the road to Tennessee, it was a long 8 hour drive.

Saturday we had a good day at the NYBL as we went 3-0. I played well and did a good job getting everyone involved until it was time for me to takeover. The only thing that is important to me is getting the win. I could care less about the stats.

Sunday we went 1-1. We won the first game but lost the second after playing back to back. It kind of sucked because the other team was a little fresher. But we can’t have any excuses its back to the lab. I have to be better conditioned for times like this. On the way home I got some pretty good news, I was invited to the Fab Frosh All American Camp.

See You Guys Next Week
