Diary Of A Baller: Kyle Anderson Entry #22

What's up everybody out there? As you can see this is Kyle Anderson filling you in on my weekly diary about how my week went. This week I had no tournaments. Just a couple of games and some camps. Last week I remember I sharing with you that I just finished playing A game against Marquis Webb, the 4 year starting guard for Rutgers University in A mens league. LOL. It was crazy! Just from that game a lone I learned a lot. After the game he was nice enough to explain to me why I was not able to get the ball in a good position against their press. 'Money Quis' as we call him, is a 'PLAYA. But this week I'm A little late due to the Rutgers Elite Skills Camp that I attended and it didn't end until Monday night. I was on Sunday I had no time to write. So I'm going to start from Tuesday.

Tuesday I didn't work out, I just shot around at the park. I needed A day off. Wednesday I was refreshed and it was my first day off from school (Go class of '08). So I slept all day. Later I had A game in the Just June League. Well actually 2 games, the semi-final and the final, with Paterson Catholic. First game was against Newark Eastside which was A 'W' by only A couple points which should have been more. But we still made it to the championship game against Paterson Eastside, who we beat A week before by 1. This game they were came out hard and so would we. The game was close until the end where they scored when they were suppose to and we didn't! We lost that game, but we will see them later on in the season during the County play-offs. The next day was my second day of summer vacation. Like the previous day, I slept all day and later went out to the park to run 3 on 3's. Just needed something to do. The run was good so I got something out of it.

Friday I had nothing and I went out with all my friends to the movies to have A good time. I like to stay close to my friends and do normal kids things and that was all. I didn't want to do to much because the next day, Saturday morning, was the Temple University camp. I played well down there except for the last game we played. My jump shot was falling and I had some nice passes. I think the coaching staff was shocked to see me rebound, start the fast break, and finish on either a nice pas or a pull up. After camp coach Dumphrey said that they were going to be watching me so if anyone asks, Temple is recruiting me. The stations were cool, the tour around campus was cool, but the food wasn't all that good, LOL. But overall the camp ran well for it being the first time. The next day was Rutgers camp. OMG! The camp was crazy!!!! Sunday night we went down to the RAC to workout from 8PM to 9:30 PM. Craziest work out of my life so far. That night we went back to Embassy Suites for A good night rest. The next morning we woke up early for the Strength and Condition part of camp. We went to the weight room and lifted and pulled the bands and did pushups with the medicine ball. Now if you've seen my game you would know I'm not the strongest or most athletic in the bunch so you can imagine how it was for me. After that we ate and went up to the Nets practice facility to workout from 5PM to 7:30PM. We worked out with Coach Fred Hill and then with Coach Paresi from the Nets. In-between we got lectured by coach Lawrence from the Nets. After both workout camp was over I was so happy to be home in my bed. That is the greatest place in the world! Today I woke up feeling soar all over, I guess from the lifting part. In A couple hours I'm going to work out with Kent Culuco. So I'll be back next week after the Eastern Invitational Camp, The Joe Brown Classic, and The Reebok Classic.

Peacee ! Yung..K-A
