Basketball Spotlight 7th Grade Top 10 Presented By AGame Team Apparel

The 7th Grade Top 10 didn’t have that much movement as many of the teams stayed on course. Here are the Top 10 7th Grade teams in the region.

Basketball Spotlight 7th Grade Top 10 Presented By AGame Team Apparel

1. Team RIO National: RIO made it to the finals of the Clash For The Cup 8th Grade Blue Division. They showed some toughness by knocking off a few blue collar squads on the way.

2. Rens: Rens move up to the #2 after winning the Clash For The Cup. They seem to be on the heels of Team RIO and another matchup is imminent.

3. Team Takeover: This group still hasn’t cured their Spotlight jinx after falling in the finals of the Clash. Maybe they will be able to shake it off and win the DMX Takeover on their home turf.

4. 6th Man Warriors: The Warriors made a strong run to the semifinals before losing to rival Team Takeover. They might have a chance to meet up again when we head to Maryland.

5. Metro Flyers: MF rebounded at the Clash and made a strong semifinal run. They seem ready to return to the standard they set last year.

6. Team Nelson: TN still isn't clicking on all cylinders yet. They’re still trying to fill the void left by the departure of Player Of The Year Mikeal Jones.

7. CIA Bounce: After a controversial pool play loss CIA Bounce ran into a determined Rens team and lost in the quarterfinals.

 8. Team Final: TF showed they belonged with the big boys at the Clash. I’m excited to see what they bring to the table for the DMV Takeover

9. Gauchos: The Choz were absent from the Clash but we expect them to return for the AC Showcase. They have a very scrappy bunch.

10. MJ Mavericks: The Mavs round our Top 10 after a quarterfinal run at the Clash.
