Savon Goodman Has Arrived!

When Tyreke Evans and Team Final won the 17 and Under Nike Super Showcase last season at Disney rumors hit the circuit that this was the end of Team Final. Nothing could be further from the truth. Team Final tooled up the future by adding 2010 stud Dion Watiers, 2011 phenom Mike Gilchrist and finally 2012 budding star Savon Goodman. I heard a lot about Goodman’s game so I took the ride to Aston, PA’s Tri- State facility to see him in action.

Goodman possesses some natural attributes including a 6’4 well built frame, long arms and good athleticism. During his play he seemed too dominant at times while making a few of his finishes look very easy. I didn’t get a chance to watch his wing game as much because he was primary on the post but when he did handle he appeared some what fluid. He will definitely be a featured wing player in the near future and is regarded by some as the top Philly prospect in this class. I think it’s safe to say that Team Final should be around for years to come
