Jr. All American Camp: Friday Night Report Class 2013

Jubril Adekoya Performed Well Friday Night

Basketball Spotlight arrived at the Jr. All American Friday night and I must say it is loaded with talent. We got a chance to look at players from every grade level and here’s a look at the Class of 2013.

Class 2013 Standouts

Jubri Adekoya Forward (Tinsley Park, IL)- Adedkaya was one of the top performers I saw in the grade division. The wing player has the toughness to bang inside and shows the smoothness when converting buckets. He’s capable of getting the rebound and pushing the rock coast to coast.

Bryson Scott Guard (Fort Wayne, IN)- Scott is a well polished player on this level. His moves are very advanced and he has the strength to absorb contact when finishing. He’s very strong with the rock and sometimes looks to be dominating the competition.

Nate King Guard (Trenton, NJ)- King was a force on the offensive end once again. The lefty bullied his way to the bucket and dropped floaters over defenders. He also will drain the jumper if you play off him.

Andrew Sawyer Guard (New York, NY)- The guard from the Big Apple ran the point effectively for his squad. He used a burst of speed and power to get past defenders and make things happen. He represented well.

Tarique Thompson Guard (Columbia, SC)- The southpaw has game inside the paint and knows how to convert in transition. He has killer game on the baseline and has some polished moves in the post. Defensively he plays bigger than his size and will hit the glass for boards.

AJ Davis Forward (Bur Ridge, IL)- Davis isn’t a fluid wing yet but he has a lot of potential. He’s going to be very long and isn’t afraid to do the dirty work for his team.

Torlorf Thomas Guard (Montgomery, AL)- Thomas is a very hyper athlete that brings his game once he hits the floor. He pushed the rock very quickly and exploded to the cup from the seams. When you play against him you better bring your game.
