Winter Warz 8th Grade Best Of The Best and All Tournament Team

The Basketball Spotlight Winter Warz 8th Grade Division had some of the best players in the country. Here’s a look at the Best of The Best from that division and All Tournament Team.

Winter Warz 8th Grade Best Of The Best and All Tournament Team

Best Performer: Bryan Antoine (Team RIO National)
Antoine answered the bell as perhaps the best guard in the country. The scariest aspect of the statement is that he made it look easy.

Best Versatility: Scottie Lewis (Team RIO National)
Lewis showed once again that he’s one of the best at getting it done on both ends of the floor. His motor and instincts are difficult to duplicate on this level.

Best Scorer: Cole Anthony (NY Rens)
Anthony finished the weekend scoring 25 points a clip. He’s a complete offensive machine and one of the best scorers in the country.

Best Inside Presence: Tariq Ingraham (Team RIO National)
His steady improvements have turned him into the best inside prospect in the region. At times he looked virtually unstoppable in the paint.

Best Floor General: Elijah Wenn (Harlem Jets)
Wenn returned to the Spotlight circuit after missing the Clash and once again guided the Jets to the championship game. I guess when Elijah is in the building the Jets know how to win.

Best Shooter: Jalen Gaffney (Team Rio National)
Gaffney made a big splash at Winter Warz especially when it came to tickling the twine. His deep bombs stretched the defense and nailed the coffin for several opponents.

Best Impact: Jamil Riggins (Philly Triple Threat)
Riggins made his Spotlight debut and PTT had their best outing of the season. The lefty came right in and went to work. He was explosive and played above the rim on the regular.
