Good Morning Spotlight World,
It’s Jaden Bradley and I’m back with my Diary Of A Baller and here’s how my week went.
Monday…Game day! After a pretty packed weekend at the CP3 combine, I was kind of tired this morning and it took me a little while to get going. This week my school is having a bake sale, I signed up to bring in cookies. The school day went by pretty quick, I have homework in 3 of my classes so I will be up for a while tonight so I can get everything done. We won tonight by around 30 points and I think everybody got the chance to score (or at least shoot). The best part of the game for me was when I blocked a shot off the backboard. I couldn’t make any shots for little bit after that, I think I was too hype. By the time I got home, I was beat. I still have to finish up some homework though, so let me hit these books. Good night!
Tuesday morning, I woke up early to get in a little workout before school. When I got ready for school, I remembered to grab a couple of dollars for the bake sale. I forgot my money yesterday. Three and a half more days until Christmas break, we don’t have any more games until January but I am glad for a break from homework and tests. I have a vocab quiz coming up so I have been studying and trying to memorize everything. My dad quizzed me, there are a couple I have to remember. I will definitely be ready for that quiz. I will probably look over my vocabulary again before I take the quiz. My brother has a game today, I hope they win (and they did, in OT!). Practice, varsity practice (I have to stay sharp), homework, dinner and shower….a lot to do before I go to bed so I better get busy. Good night!
Wednesday, two and a half more days until Christmas break. I woke up at 6 am and ran to the garage to get my workout done. Everything I do, I usually have my music playing in the background. The day went by pretty quick, I have a lot of school work to do before the break comes. During the break, I really want to get out to some high school games, I have to remember to look online so I can see who else has games that I can go to. Practice, homework, dinner and shower...I can’t believe I don’t have more activities for tonight. I will probably watch some basketball videos on my iPad like I do most nights. I got a new one posted from the CP3 National Middle School Combine, I really like it a lot.
Thursday, one and a half more days until Christmas break. The bake sale is still going on and today was my day to work it. We had fun while we worked and in Art class we had to do task work. Basically, you pick a task out of a hat and you have to create whatever task you are given. I had to make a hat out of the materials in the room and give it to one of classmates. It wasn’t the best hat, but it was funny when he had to put it on his head. After school I am heading out to see one my best friends play in the first round of the middle school playoffs…Winkler vs. Harris Road. Winkler did not win the game, but my boy was definitely giving it his all. He had probably 30 points and was dropping buckets. After the game, my parents and I grabbed a quick bite to eat before we headed back home. I have a little work I need to finish and since tomorrow is the last day of school, I am trying to get everything done.
Today is the last day of school before the Christmas break and we have a half day! Do you know how much I like half days? I jumped up this morning to get my workout done and hopefully I can get to school early. This morning my advisory group is going off campus for breakfast at Bojangles. I was full when we went back to school. When we get back to school, we have our advisory games competition. The last time we did this we had a doughnut duel and if you know me, I was all in for that one. Free doughnuts, count me in. Anyway, this time we played different games all day and competed against each other. When my mom picked me up from school, I had to get ready to go meet my trainer and get some work in on the court. I will probably get a few more trainer workouts before the weekend is over, I can’t take any days off. Have a good weekend!
