Basketball Spotlight Tip Off Classic 6th Grade Top Performers Part 3

A.J. Rodriquez Forward (Riverside Hawks) – A.J. is a strong wing that always plays under control and doesn’t take bad shots. We saw him drive the baseline and finish with touch and he also can shoot the 3ball. His strength right now is finishing at the rim.

Jagger Bascombe Guard (Riverside Hawks) – Jagger is tough point guard that knows how to finish contested layups on the break through or around contact. He also understands how to get to the FT line as he shot 10 in the game we watched. As a facilitator Bascombe understands how to get his teammates open shot with his drive and kick game. He finished with 12 points in the game we watched.
Dylan Louis Forward (Rising Stars Elite) – Dylan was one of the tallest players in the 6th grade division. He was one of the top long term prospects in the division if he continues to work and develop his skill set due to his length and size. Right now he affects the game more the on the defensive end of the floor blocking shots and rebounding. He can move very well for his size so skies the limit with hard work.
Jordan Howe Forward (Rising Stars Elite) – Jordan is another good looking prospect on the Rising Stars. He is a little more polished offensively than Louis. His strength allows him to get a lot of offensive rebound put backs and he is also a problem on the defensive end clogging up the paint. We will be tracking the progression of the Rising Stars twin towers.
Dylan Harper Guard (Ring City Elite) – Harper is a nice size guard that sticks his nose in the paint and grabs rebounds with the bigs so he can start the break himself. He is fast and loves to attack the basket putting pressure on the defense.
Cole Pisciotti Guard (Ring City Elite) – Cole is a skilled combo guard that understands how to play to his strengths. He has a nice mid-range jumper off the dribble. He also knocks down his free throws at a high percentage. He has good handles so he can navigate the defense. He tallied 10 points in the game we watched.
