Jaden Bradley

Our next Diary Of A Baller takes us to North Carolina where 6’4 guard Jaden Bradley is rated as the #1 8th Grader in America. Last summer Bradley led the CP3 All Stars to the 13U AAU National Championship. He also was named the MVP of the Basketball Spotlight Future Phenom Camp after a dominating performance. Basketball Spotlight world let’s welcome Jaden as he gives us a look into his life for the next eight weeks.

Good Morning Basketball Spotlight World,

I’m Jaden Bradley from Concord, NC and first I would like to thank Basketball Spotlight for giving me the opportunity to do Diary Of A Baller. Here’s how my week went.

Monday, I started with an early morning workout at 6 am before I grabbed a shower and breakfast. It is a different kind of week for me, I have a band concert tonight. I play the baritone saxophone in my Middle School band, I am a little nervous because this is my first time playing this instrument and I have a solo. I hope I don’t mess up, it’s going to be a long day. Concert time, I’m on time and I’m ready.

Tuesday was game day! Like every game day, I woke up excited and ready for the game. I have to take care of business first though, let’s get these classes done. I hope I don’t have too much homework. Anyway, I turned my music on and got ready for school. We had a good game and are undefeated so far. Since I didn’t have much homework, I had the chance to go watch some high school basketball, Rocky Rover versus Butler. It was an exciting game! I’m super tired now and I’m looking forward to a shower and some sleep.

Wednesday, I started with an early morning workout at 6 am and showered up for school. Today is Family Day, it is only a half day. I love Family Day since we don’t usually have homework. My mom picked me up and we went to grab some lunch at Chick Fil a. Once I got home, I watched a little TV and I had to get ready to go meet my trainer. I took a nap on the way there so I could be fresh. After my workout, I am feeling ready to have another good game tomorrow. Around 7, I sat with my parents to watch my older brother’s college basketball game. Before long it was time to get ready for the next day, I’m tired now anyway so I think I’ll go to bed early.

Thursday was once again Game Day! I jumped up to get ready for school because I had a math test that I had been studying hard for. The test was hard, but I think I did pretty well. My team faced a pretty tough opponent today, but we pulled out another win. All my teammates are getting involved and the gym was pretty loud today.

Friday, I came home I had to get ready for CP3 camp registration. It’s going to be a pretty long weekend, but I’m ready for it. I have to be up and in the gym by 8 o’clock in the morning. We will do a lot of drill work and play some games. We did not get done until 8 o’clock that night so I know I will be tired. I finished the camp with 25 points per game and on the All Star team and the win.

See You Guys Next Week.
