One On One Feat. Kevin "Lucky" Cheatham (Memphis War Eagles)

The Memphis War Eagles have been a National AAU Power for years. Their class of 2016 group won the AAU Nationals in 2008. Kevin “Lucky” Cheatham was the quarterback of that and still runs the show to this day. We got a chance to watch Lucky rock at the 12U AAU Nationals this year and here’s our One On One.

BS: What school do you attend?
LC: Ridgeway Middle School.

BS: Who is favorite player?
LC: Chris Paul because of his smoothness and ability to create.

BS: What’s the strongest part of your game?
LC: My ball handling.

BS: What part of your game needs the most work?
LC: My shooting and defense.

BS: What’s your most memorable basketball moment?
LC: Hitting a half court shot against Memphis Panthers and winning the AAU National title.

BS: What’s your dream college?
LC: Kentucky, I love how Coach Cal coaches.

BS: Who’s your favorite rapper?
LC: Lil Wayne, his flow is great.

BS: Who would you love to have dinner with?
LC: Kobe Bryant because we are alike in many ways.
