Austin Tilghman Took Home MVP Honors.

Isaiah Whitehead scored 22 points and Naim Thomas chipped in 18 markers as the North Team defeated the South Team 111-91 to win the Basketball Spotlight J.E.M. All Star Classic. Shep Garner finished with 24 points in the South Team in the loss.

MVP

Austin Tilghman Guard (Wilmington, DE)- Tilghman was the most efficient offensive player in the game. I got a chance to see a lot more of his game in terms quickness and cleaver moves. He zipped past defenders and weaved his way to the tin. I also like how he played defense and even showing his leaping ability on a big block.

Sportsmanship Award

Jared Wilson Frame Guard (Windsor, CT)- Frame got busy last evening with some thunderous moves and supreme leaping ability. I love the range on his jump shot and the quickness he shows when attacking the goal. On one play he went down the lane a tried to flush over a few defenders before getting fouled. He’s the top 2014 player from Connecticut and one of the top in the region.
