Future Phenom Camp Class of 2027 Top Performers Part 1

The Class of 2027 used the Future Phenom Camp to introduce themselves to the world. Here’s our first look at the top performers.

Future Phenom Camp Class of 2027 Top Performers Part 1

TJ Allen Guard (MA) – Allen was a man amongst boys at the Phenom Camp. He is a big guard that competes on both ends of the floor. He is always in attack mode and can score from anywhere on the floor. His tight handle allows him to get anywhere he wants, and he is at his best using it to get to the rim and finish in traffic or through contact. He produced eye popping scoring numbers every game he played. He deservedly took home the 7th grade MVP Gold Ball Trophy.

Korey Francis Guard (DE) – Francis was laser focused on making sure his team won the game. He is a combo guard but is at his best running the team at the point. He led his team to the camp championship, and he took home the Best Playmaker/Passer Award for his division. Korey has a fabulous change of pace to his game always keeping the defenders off balance. We love how he plays so under control. He is good in transition finishing through or around defenders. The part of his game that really jumped out at us was his improved and consistent three point shot that he was making at a high percentage. He was part of the All-Camp Team (Top 5).

Nick Harken Forward (PA) – Harken is a do it all combo forward that is a force at this level. He can pass, dribble, score, and rebound which makes him unstoppable with his size and skill level. Nick also plays so hard on both ends of the floor. He always makes the right play with his high basketball IQ and Harken has great footwork around the basket. He took home the Best Prospect Award for his division. He was part of the All-Camp Team (Top 5).

Dwayne Ruffin Guard (PA) – Ruffin is a lefty guard that is tough to stay in front of. He is quick with the rock using his dribble moves to set up his defender creating space to get his shot off. He can score from all three levels, and he also gets his teammates involved facilitating. He paired up with Francis in the backcourt to bring home the camp team championship. We also like how he competes on the defensive end as he won the Best Defender Award for his division. He was part of the All-Camp Team (Top 5).

Neel Sappidi Guard (NJ) -His jumper is money but his floor game is also legit. I like his drive and kick game and willingness to give up the rock. He stays in attack mode and will add some flair to his finishes if needed. He took home the Best Shooter Award for his division. He was part of the All-Camp Team (Top 5).

Caleb Lundy Guard (NJ) – Lundy is a big combo guard that plays hard on both ends of the floor. Defensively we saw him block multiple shots. Offensively he shares the ball finding cutting teammates for easy buckets along with throwing multiple lead passes for easy assists. He can also score the ball at a high rate, and we liked his ability to knock down the 3-point shot. He was part of the All-Camp Team (Top 5).
