Clash For The Cup 6th Grade Top Performers Part 3

Judah Hildago

The Basketball Spotlight Clash For The Cup 6th Grade Division went down to the wire. Here’s a look at Part 3 of our top performers.

Clash For The Cup 6th Grade Top Performers Part 3

Judah Hidalgo Forward (We R 1) – Hidalgo is a big long combo forward that has a bright future. He has a good handle that allows him to be a mismatch problem as the other teams big is usually covering him and he can go right around him. He changes direction well and has a turnaround jumper in his package along with a soft floater. Judah also has a nice stroke from the free throw line and also has range out to the 3 point line.

Kevair Kennedy Guard (We R 1) – Kennedy is a crafty guard that likes to attack the rim. He can finish in traffic and through contact. He has a high IQ and move well without the ball finding open spots in the defense to receive a pass from a teammate. We saw him convert a nice And 1 over the other team’s big man.
Ahmad Clark Forward (DC Legends) – Clark is a big long power forward that oozes with potential. He is a force on both ends of the floor blocking shots and rebounding on the defensive end. On the offensive end he has a good touch around the basket as we saw him convert a tough turnaround jump shot off the glass.
Isaiah Skinn Guard (DC Legends) – Isaiah is a big do it all guard. He plays the game hard and is scrappy on both ends of the floor. He finishes in traffic and in transition and has range out to the 3 point line. He rebounds and get put backs and he really digs in on defense making it tough for who he is guarding. He had 20 points in the game we saw.
Jalen St. Clair Guard (DC Legends) – Jalen is a smaller guard but that doesn’t affect anything he does on the court. He can knock down the 3 pointer and he gets to the free throw line at a high rate. He is a good compliment to Skinn as they feed off of each other’s energy. He finished with 16 points in the game we watched.
Quincy Porter Forward (Riverside Hawks) – Porter is a long wing that has a great approach to the game on both ends of the floor. Defensively he causes problems for the other team as he is always jumping passing lanes as we saw him getting steals and going the other way for easy layups. He knows how to get to the line on the offensive end and he is a good passer always making the right pass or shoot decision when he gets the rock.
