Basketball Spotlight Clash For The Cup 6th Grade Top Performers Part 2

Lyrick Samuel Guard (Rising Stars NY)- Samuel is a long wing guard that excels in transition. He can attack off the dribble and finish through contact. He’s also a multi positional defender that collected a lot of steals. He finished with 14 points in the game we watched. He is a total match-up problem.

Hank Williams Guard (Rising Stars NY)- Hank is a shooter from deep range. He’s possibly best 3 point shooter in the event. If you give him an inch he is letting it fly. He plays pretty good defense as we saw him have a few steals which led to fast break points on the other end. He knocked down five treys and finished with 18 points in the game we saw.
Jackson Sutherland Guard (Riverside Hawks)- Sutherland affects the game is so many ways on both ends of the floor. He rebounds and leads the break showing his excellent court vision. We like his floater game around the basket and how he straps up on defense causing havoc to whoever he’s guarding. He finished with 14 points in the game we watched.
Chaz Gray Forward (Riverside Hawks)- Gray is a big strong power forward that rebounds and finishes well around the rim. He passes good from the high and low posts finding teammates when the double team comes. Chaz has a soft stroke from the free throw line. He finished with 13 points in the game we watched.
Jayden Huggins Guard (Riverside Hawks)- Huggins is a big guard that does what his team needs to win. He is at beating his man off the dribble and either kicking to the open shooter or finishing at the rim. Jayden can be a lock down defender guarding any perimeter position.
Judah Bontemps Guard (Riverside Hawks)- Judah is a quick shifty point guard that attacks the paint with his nice handle. He has flair to his game as we saw him throw numerous no look passes. He keeps the defense honest and scorer when needed but he understands how to keep his teammates.
