Moody Park Middle School Top Performers

Jeffrey White

Moody Park Middle School action took place last night and we were in the building. The game of the night had Basketball Spotlight defeated Trenton Catholic 52-37 in a great showing. Here are the top performers of the night.

Moody Park Middle School Top Performers

Jeffrey White Forward (Bball Spotlight)- Wright led all scorers with 19 points as he dominated the paint. He got deep post position and scored with a soft touch. He also banged the boards while finishing with put backs. He does well finishing through contact.

Davontay Hudson Guard (Bball Spotlight)- Hudson chipped in 11 for the winners by scoring the rock in transition and slashing through the lane in the half court set. This squad feeds off of his energy and defensive intensity.
Stesher Mathelier Forward (Bball Spotlight)-Mathelier used his size to crash the glass and alter shots on defense. He ran the floor well and showed good touch. Once his hands improve in terms of catching the rock his game might shoot up the ladder.
Mike Boisselle Jr. Guard (Bball Spotlight)- I like how Boisselle ran the show for the winners. His split the defense with dribble moves and delivered a few laser passes. He would have had a bunch of assist if his teammates would have caught more of his passes.
Cale Maxey Guard (TCA)- I like the way Maxey controlled the tempo for TCA. He has good size and sees the floor very well. He was strong enough to hold off the pressure from BBall Spotlight and still make plays. He also showed the ability to score the rock.
Dominic Raymond Forward (TCA)- Raymond was the high scorer for TCA with 13 points. He showed inside and outside prowess. I like this kid’s toughness and willingness to go at any defender when he has the rock.
