JC Tharrington
The list of elite talent continues to grow for the upcoming Future Phenom Camp; recently committed is J.C. Tharrington – one of the classes top rated PG’s. Tharrington is constantly overlooked by those who are not true students of the game. For those that truly know, Tharrington is one of the most talented, consistent, and highly skilled players in the class. Known for his excellent text-book shooting stroke J.C. cannot be left open or he will make defenses pay severely. His range is well beyond the 3-point stripe and only requires a split second to get off. His basketball lineage is also well known as his mother, grandfather and uncle all played at either the collegiate or professional levels; we are talking NBA & ABA here. Likely his vast and knowledgeable support system is a primary contributor to the high basketball IQ exhibited in his play as a lead guard.
Having JC on the floor spreads the court and make the game easier his teammates, his handle isn’t flashy but suffices at a high level as he knows how to navigate to both scoring areas as well as creating high percentage passing angles. In speaking with Tharrington he is ready for all the questions to stop – the Spotlight will be the time and the place that he makes his statement that he is here to stay and must be mentioned with the best of 2019. We do not doubt him in the least and those that may be sleeping either need to wake up or will be woken up August 23rd and 24th at the Future Phenom Camp.
