Best Of The Best HOF 12U Recap: Team Takeover Takes Over Hall Of Fame

Team Takeover Are Champs

Jeffrey Duwhn scored 21 points including 3 treys and Bryant Crawford added 11 markers as Team Takeover defeated The City 71-62 to win the Best Of The Best Hall Of Fame Classic 12 and Under Title. Mike Williams finished with 20 points for The City in the loss.

Spotlight Players

Jeff Duwhn Guard (Team Takeover)- Duwhn shoots a line drive type trey ball but it was very effective today. The combo guard made big play after big play whenever his team needed someone to step up. Jeff was very active on the defensive end and also excelled in transition. He received MVP honors.

Bryant Crawford Guard (Team Takeover)- Crawford is a joy to watch because he makes me shake my head at some of the things he can do on the floor. Today he showed the knack to score and dish especially a swift behind the back pass. I love his approach to the game.

Tony Blackwell Guard (Team Takeover)- Blackwell got things going early for the PV boys on the defensive end by getting steals and converting a few lay ups. His ability to put the rock on the floor baffled a couple of City defenders. He plays with great passion and a good motor.

Mike Williams Guard (The City)- Williams woke up after his squad dug a deep hole and were behind. The explosive guard didn’t have his jumper falling but he was able to attack in the half court set and in transition.

Boz Bernstein Guard (The City)- Bernstein tried to save the day again knocking home two big treys as The City made their final run. He understands spacing and that it’s important for him to spot up even in transition.

Eric Paschall Forward (The City)- Paschall was very solid all weekend as his versatility stood out again. Most defenders view him as a post player but are in trouble once he puts the rock on the floor and dribbles by them.
