Breakdown: Newkirk has found a home with Team Scan and is turning himself into a capable floor general. He has learned how to get his teammates involved doesn’t turn the rock over and knows how to play the passing lanes on defense. His squad just won the Jr. Nationals up in Massachusetts and Shavar ran the controls. Improvement on his jump shot will take a long way as especially on the high school level.
