Tyus Battle scored 11 points and Jamir Harris added 9 markers as Team Battle came back from first half double digit deficit to defeat F.A.C.E.S 40-30 in the NJ AAU 10 and Under Championship. Azzur Taylor led F.A.C.E.S with 16 points in the loss.

Top Championship Game Performers

Tyus Battle Guard (Team Battle)- After having a hard time in the first half against F.A.C.E.S pressure Battle took control in the second stanza. He used his size to see over the defense and was able to force his will offensively. Tyus got involved on the boards on both ends of the floor and hit a big trey that put his squad ahead for good.

Jamir Harris Forward (Team Battle)- Harris got involved inside and got some put backs that helped give his squad the advantage. Harris’s size started to cause problems for F.A.C.E.S in the second half.

Chase Barneys Guard (Team Battle)- Barneys also picked up his scoring during Team Battle’s run. He did a good job in transition and hitting the gaps in the half court set.

Joey Krempa Guard (Team Battle)- Krempa is tough as nails and it showed in this game. He made a few tough moves and hit some big shots when they needed them.

Azzur Taylor Guard (F.A.C.E.S)- Taylor’s scoring helped F.A.C.E.S blow the doors open early. He hit the floaters and seems to know how to use the glass effectively.

RJ Cole Guard (F.A.C.E.S)- Cole handles the pill like a true floor general. His jump shot wouldn’t fall in but his form and strength makes every shot look good when it’s released. I love his competiveness.
