Breakdown: After watching loads of footage on Kahlil Dukes I must say I’m impressed with this kid’s style of play. The ultra quick point guard reminds me of Class of 2011 Connecticut stud Anthony Jernigan but with a better outside shot at this age. Like Jernigan, Dukes gets anywhere he wants on the floor, makes defenders disappear with dribble moves, can score the pill but enjoys dropping dimes to teammates. He rocks with Connecticut Basketball Club and has been blistering defenders all season. I had to joy to watch several Connecticut guards when they were young such as Jernigan, Tyrone Gardner and current St. Joseph Hawk Chris Prescott and Dukes seems to be next in line.
