Spotlight Players

Mike Williams Guard (The City)- Williams made some big plays down the stretch to help his team pull out the win. He got into the lane at will and either shot the pull up jumper or finished at the cup. Mike spent a lot of time at the charity stripe because of his aggressive drives to the cup. He stepped up huge today.

Donovan Mitchell Guard (The City)- Mitchell got it done on the defensive end to help The City take the lead for good. He played the top of the 1-3-1 zone and used his length to deflect passes while forcing turnovers. Donovan also went to the free throw line and knocked down some clutch freebies to put the game away.

Josh Wallace Forward (The City)- Josh got involved on the offensive end. He finished off nice passes from his teammates by using his knack for scoring. He mainly played the baseline and attacked the rim over shot blockers. He gave some productive minutes.

Emmanuel Taylor Forward (The City)- Once Taylor receives the rock on the blocks he’s difficult to contain. He muscled his way to a couple of baskets but does need to be more active on the glass and work on catching quick passes. Today he was a true force on the blocks.

Charvon Julien Guard (Jaguars)- This guard was terrific. He battled to the end and possesses some good skills especially when the rock was in his hands. He’s athletic and sees the floor very well. He gave The City fits with his ability to get into the lane and score at times. Remember his name he’s a good one.

Jaquel Fant Forward (Jaguars)- Fant attacks the basket as soon as he touches the rock. He’s ball handling needs to get sharper but his athleticism helps him get the job done on this level. Once he broke the first line of defense he glided over shot blockers for tough buckets.

Malik Crowfield Guard (Jaguars)- Crowfield helped to keep things close by using his outside stroke. He usually set up in the corner and drained jumpers after receiving the pill from Julien. He can really shoot the rock.
