Clash For The Cup Preview: 12 and Under Division

The Basketball Spotlight Clash For The Cup 12 and Under Division should be very interesting. We feel this bracket will truly be up for grabs as there is no clear cut favorite. Here’s a look at the squads and what they will be bringing to the table.

12 and Under Preview

Harvest Knight: This bunch should be real anxious to show they are the regions’ best for this age bracket. Their trio of Malik Ellison, Trevaughn Wilkerson and newcomer Lamar Jones should give them a great shot at the crown. They got bumped at the Grand Finale so expect some serious play for this group.

The City: This new squad is fresh off a MLK Classic title and is ready to add some more hardware to this trophy case. They have many players that can get it done including Boz Bernstein, Wolfgang Novogratz, Josh Wallace and Donovan Mitchell. Don’t sleep on them.

F.A.C.E.S.: Rob Cole’s bunch has reloaded in the backcourt with Trey Lowe and Mike Joloaso. They have a couple of tourney under their belt and should be ready to take that next step. Brian Brown is always ready and don’t be surprised if Austin Goodluck has a strong showing. Their semifinal matchup with The City should be one to watch.

Team MVP: The Trenton boys will be looking to protect their home turf. James Wright, Herbie Ellis and Kevin Alexis shined at the MLK and should carry that over to the Cup. The crowd will be on their side which will be needed because this field is tough.

It’s Time To Go Hard Or Go Home!
